Dr. Charlyn Partridge is an Associate Professor at Annis Water Resources Institute – Grand Valley State University. Her research centers around the field of molecular ecology, and her current projects involve (1) developing and implementing molecular tools to detect invasive species, (2) understanding how invasive species rapidly adapt to new environments, and (3) evaluating the effects of microplastic pollution on aquatic wildlife. Charlyn is extremely excited about the opportunity to join the Board of Directors of the Michigan Lakes and Streams Association. This opportunity will give her the chance to interact directly with statewide lake associations and private citizen to help solve some of the most pressing environmental concerns facing our freshwater resources.
