Join us for this “Lunch and Learn” webinar by Brian Majka, Senior Restoration Ecologist, GEI.

The physical properties and associated forces of ice, wind, and waves have a significant effect on the in-lake and shoreline ecosystem of our lakes. Understanding these properties and their associated forces are important to holistic and healthy lake management. This presentation will discuss how water acts and moves in a lake and on the shorelines, and how those forces affect sediment transport, erosion, and the ecology of a lake. Additionally, the presentation will discuss lake friendly shoreline management practices that can benefit the lake ecosystem.
