Many states are starting to see new legislation designed to put restrictions on wakeboats. We have been keeping up to speed with a group of states around the country who are concerned about the legislation and ask if it really does enough to protect shorelines, lake bottoms, and personal property.
We are patiently waiting for the results of the St. Anthony Falls Wake and Propwash Study. As you will recall, we made a significant donation to this study and encouraged your donations as well. The study was fully funded and we expect to see results sometime in the spring.
We are working in collaboration with Maine Lakes and similar state organizations to put together a webinar presentation by the scientists involved in the study to help us all understand the results.
